Armis Group participated in the 17th ITS European Congress 2026, held in Istanbul from April 27 to 29, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to Intelligent Transport Systems, smart mobility, and connected infrastructure. Bringing together public authorities, technology providers, mobility operators, and industry leaders, the congress served as a strategic platform to discuss the future of mobility across Europe.

ARMIS joined the event as part of the Portugal Pavilion, organized by CRP - Centro Rodoferroviário Português with the support of AICEP Portugal Global, alongside entities including IMT - Instituto da Mobilidade e dos Transportes, Infraestruturas de Portugal, Grupo Brisa and other Portuguese technology and mobility organizations, reinforcing Portugal’s coordinated presence within the European mobility ecosystem.

Throughout the congress, discussions focused on Artificial Intelligence, predictive operations, C-ITS, interoperability, and mobility data ecosystems, highlighting the growing importance of operational intelligence and resilient digital infrastructures in next generation mobility systems.

As part of the technical program, ARMIS presented Drive 3.0, a unified 24/7 mobility management platform designed to support operational intelligence, safety, and real time decision making across mobility operations. The session “From Fragmented Operations to a Unified, 24/7 Mobility Management Platform” was delivered by Pedro Barradas, CSO at ARMIS.

Eduardo Lopes, CTO at ARMIS, also participated in the Special Interest Session “From Detection to Prevention: AI Powered Safety Intelligence for Cities”, focused on AI driven safety, predictive detection, and advanced decision support systems for urban mobility.

ARMIS further contributed to discussions on interoperability and mobility data harmonization through participation in the session “Building an Interoperable Mobility Data Ecosystem in Europe and the Western Balkans”, addressing National Access Points, interoperability frameworks, and NAPCORE alignment.

In collaboration with DMS - Displays & Mobility Solutions, Lda, ARMIS also presented O2Move, a sustainable mobility hubs network developed within the BE.Neutral initiative and supported by PRR.

Participation in the ITS European Congress 2026 reinforced ARMIS’s positioning within the intelligent mobility ecosystem, contributing to discussions around AI enabled, interoperable, and operationally resilient mobility environments across Europe.
