App Escoita, created by Jesus Suarez Lopez and developed in partnership with ARMIS Digital Sport, closes the gap between accessibility and technology. Any game for any sport can be broadcasted, real-time, ensuring a unique experience for blind people on a stadium.
It is estimated that blindness affects 39 million people worldwide and that 246 million suffer from moderate to severe vision loss, but not all sports are followed and reported in real time.
To fulfill this gap in the market, Escoita empowers inclusion in sports through event reporting. This way, all fans can feel the energy and experience the emotions live, regardless of the sport they are watching.
This platform will be implemented in the final of the Roller Hockey Copa del Rey in A Coruña, ensuring that all fans have equal access to the games.
