As a member of the GPDER project consortium and member of the SCALE project consortium, ARMIS will be present at CIRED 2023 in Rome.

Taking place in Rome, Italy, CIRED 2023 is already in its 27th edition and ARMIS is pleased to be present in what is the largest international conference and exhibition of electricity. The event will take place in Rome between June 12 and 15.

Representing ARMIS and its participation in the GPDER project and SCALE project will be Luís Gonçalves, Head of Software Engineering of ARMIS Information Technology and will participate in the presentations of papers "The Next Generation of ADMS Functions for Predictive Management of DER" and "Challenges and Considerations for the Design and Implementation of a Centralized Protection and Control Solution for MV Networks".

The GPDER project is promoted by Efacec, INESC TEC, ARMIS and PH ENERGIA, LDA and aims to develop a SCADA/DMS System dedicated to Predictive Management of the Distribution Network (high and medium voltage) and a Demand Response Management System (DRMS) platform that allows the implementation of new business models for the Management of Distributed Electrical Resources operated by different entities (e.g. aggregators, retailers, consumer cooperatives).

The SCALE project has as promoters Efacec, INESC TEC, ARMIS and the Institute of Telecommunications and aims to develop a highly innovative solution for control, management and monitoring of medium voltage (MV) networks, with greater flexibility, reliability, security and autonomy, based on a centralized solution for protection, automation and control of digital substation (SE) HV/MV of the future.

CIRED brings together the entire electricity distribution community and by 2023 will have more than 3000 experts from over 62 countries.
